Kirkkonummi’s Recruiting Event
Kirkkonummi’s Recruiting Event gives employers and job seekers an opportunity to meet and to introduce themselves
Each year, recruiting events draw employers who need new employees, job seekers and service providers who work at employment services. Educational establishments present educational opportunities that improve the job seeking skills of the unemployed or even enable a change of line of work.
The event was organized for the first time on 22 October 2019 by the Municipality of Kirkkonummi and Uusimaa TE Office in association with local actors, such as Ohjaamo Kirkkonummi, Työmajakka ry and Luckan. The turnout exceeded all expectations. About 350 job seekers gathered at Kirkkonummi Church Hall to familiarize themselves with about 20 employers, educational establishments and experts in the immediate area.

In 2020, the recruiting event moves to larger premises
The Recruiting Event on Tuesday 15 September from 10:00 to 15:00 is held at LähiTapiola Sport Center in Masala. The premises have room for over 1,000 people at a time. Through our web pages, we invite all entrepreneurs in the area, and the premises have room for about 100 businesses in the order of enrolment – we expect about 1,500 job seekers to participate in the event during the day.
